Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family compete to win the team’s Fan of the Year competition, judged by Derrick, the director of fan affairs. The film was filmed on the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like this all year round.

The square is also decorated with Christmas lights, just like in the film. Alana Higman (Hunter King) is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her parents met as children when their families sat next to each other at games.
There’s a magic hat
They claim to be in the “Fan of the Year” competition. Derrick, the director of fan relations (Tyler Hines), is doing a review. The most compelling relationship in the movie is the relationship between Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs.

I expected more from the real Kansas City Chiefs. I expected some high-class players to meet our match. That’s what the players have to want.
I think everyone needs a paycheck
As for the pairing, I’ve always liked Hunter King’s comedic timing, and Tyler Hines seems pretty good, although they could try Neal Cunningham. There are surprisingly many familiar faces in other roles. That’s good, Hallmark, and maybe there will be more synergy.
