Plot
Eva (Odessa Young), a 19th-century widow, is faced with an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing outpost in the midst of a particularly cruel winter. Eva and her crew must decide whether to rescue the survivors or survive the winter on scraps of food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and tormented by guilt, the residents struggle with a growing sense of fear and begin to believe that they are all being punished for their decisions.
