Plot
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan for revenge and to shake up the industry.
I never expected it to be this good!
There’s drama, tension, suspense, and the dialogue is honestly hilarious!
Every character is thoroughly developed, even if they only appear for a few minutes
However, as the story progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal struggles that each of the three main characters experiences, the show is mostly a comedy, and the proof of that is the director’s perfect grasp of what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
Hands down to the directing
Indeed, most of the “funny movies or series” that are released these days lack that basic substance, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT for comedic effects.
